Undoubtedly, Google is among the most powerful tools in the world.

This should tell you how useful and powerful Google search engine is… Google is the to go-to site for many people looking for answers to their queries.
You might not believe you’ve not use the full potentials of the Google search engine yet, there are tips to unleash the endless prowess of this popular tool.
So, I chanced on these 8 Googling tips thread made on twitter by @Chrishlad and I find it to be very interesting so I’ve decided to share with you all.
Without further ado, let’s get started.

1• “Quotation Marks”
When you put quotes around search terms, it let you search exactly for that word.
Thus, all results will have your word in it.
For Example: “James Clear”
This gives you all James Clear Search results without just “James” or “Clear”.
2• Dashes
If you want to exclude a particular term from your search results, include a hyphen before that word.
For Example: dolphins-football
In this case, you just want dolphins the animal not dolphins the professional football team.
3• Tilde
Use tilde if/when you want synonyms appear in result.
Example: music ~classes
You’d only get music classes, lessons, coaching, etc…
4• Site:
Use the SITE: to search within a specific site only.
For Example: mobile loans site:techflaver.com
This will search for mobile loans mention on my techflaver.com
5• | Vertical Bar
This function same as OR
Example: YouTube | Showmax
Youtube OR Showmax
6• .. Two Periods
You can use two periods to search within two number ranges.
For Example: Movies 2003..2022
7• Location
You can find a news related to a particular location.
For Example: Kwame Nkrumah Location:Ghana
8• Filetype:
Last, you can filter by a certain file type related to your search.
For Example: university of California requirements Filetype:pdf
This will filter out all click bait news university of California you are not ready to read.
